iCoachKids and The Inclusion Club Sign Co-operation Agreement
The two organisations will work together for the foreseeable future pooling together human and material resources to support practitioners working with children and young people in inclusive physical activity and sport.
iCoachKids, an Erasmus+ co-funded project led by Leeds Beckett University and the International Council for Coaching Excellence developing free resources and educational opportunities for youth coaches, has signed a cooperation agreement with The Inclusion Club, a well-established online platform aimed at practitioners working in inclusive physical activity and disability sport.
The Inclusion Club Co-Founder Ken Black said: ‘We see this as an excellent opportunity, in partnership with iCoachKids, to support coaches in ensuring that their programmes include all young people. We can achieve this by sharing knowledge, utilising the expertise in our shared networks to develop resources and materials that promote inclusive coaching practice.’
Sergio Lara-Bercial, iCoachKids Project Leader said: ‘We are delighted to have signed this agreement with The Inclusion club. The work that Ken Black and Peter Downs have done in this area is tremendous and I’m sure iCoachKids users will benefit immensely from it and from the future cooperation to develop additional materials’
